ABOUT MTH FINANCE AI

Built from finance experience, not just technology

MTH Finance AI was created to solve a practical finance problem: businesses have more financial data than ever, but turning that data into meaningful management information, insight and action can still take too much time.

We believe financial reporting should help people understand what is happening, why it matters and what needs attention next.

Why we built MTH Finance AI

Accounting systems are excellent at recording financial transactions. But producing useful management information often still involves exporting data, building spreadsheets, preparing reports, analysing movements and then explaining the results to management.

MTH Finance AI was built to bring more of that journey together — from accounting data and management accounts through to KPIs, analytical review, financial interpretation and practical action.

From accounting data to management insight.

Designed around how finance actually works

MTH Finance AI is being developed by MTH Consulting Limited, founded by Craig Patterson, an experienced finance professional with a career spanning both accountancy practice and senior finance roles in industry.

That experience has shaped the platform around practical finance requirements — management reporting, cash flow, KPIs, variance analysis, financial commentary and turning insight into action.

The objective isn't to replace accountants or finance professionals. It's to give them, and the businesses they support, better tools for turning financial information into useful management insight.

Our approach

Practical

Financial technology should solve real finance problems, not create more complexity.

Clear

Management information should make financial performance easier to understand.

Responsible

AI should support financial interpretation and professional judgement, not pretend to replace them.

Action-focused

Financial reporting is most valuable when it helps people decide what to do next.

Know your numbers.
Understand what they mean.
Know what to do next.

Turn accounting data into meaningful management information, financial insight and practical action.
